In 2000 there were only 20,000 .ppt/.edu lectures on the web. We
decided to collect only the .edu lectures with the concept that
lectures coming from colleges and Universities which are being used
for teaching, are likely of excellent quality and are active and
vibrant. There has been an enormous increase in English lectures to
now over 1,200,000. Spanish
lectures from Spanish sites have started to migrate.
Scientific lectures in Arabic have not as yet been included
on the web, but the soon will. The Supercourse of science has
harvested all the lectures and classified these according to
academic discipline
