I’m retired after 30 years in local public health.  This project was part of my desire to develop real life teaching resources for public health.
I want to start at the end, and show you what we created, then talk about how we got there.
We have this material on a CD, and we have this available for you today.  I would appreciate receiving a business card from everyone who has taken one of these for our records.
You have a list of what is included on the CD.
Start with showing some PowerPoint, perhaps 5 minutes
We think that this is innovative in that it we conducted oral history interviews with the actual people who had key roles in the Hep A investigation.
We extracted video clips from the interviews and included them in the PowerPoint.  What you’re seeing are their spontaneous comments, not something they read from a script.  I think it brings a level of realism and credibility to the entire presentation.
