2- A Decade of Science & Diplomacy (8 November 2022)

Within the framework of the Young Scientists Training Program, held to provide young scientists with needed skills to advance their career and achieve their professional goals, TWAS-AREP organizes an online workshop with the theme “Biodiversity towards Sustainable Food Systems in the Arab Region” on 13-14 December 2022.

The workshop will address Biodiversity and Agro-Food Systems, with special emphasis on their inter-correlation with the climate change. It will discuss the Agro-Foods nexus in depth, biodiversity challenges facing Arab countries specially as a consequence of climate change. The workshop will give young researchers under the age of 40 the opportunity to network with experts and researchers from developing counties
