The year 2022 is well-known as the year of Egyptology, as it witnesses 200 years of the decipherment of the Rosetta stone by Champollion.
Bibliotheca Alexandrina will celebrate two centuries of the decipherment of the Rosetta stone by Jean-Francois Champollion in 1822, by organizing a scholarly seminar in October 2022. Abgadiyat (Issue 17) 2022 will be dedicated to the papers of the seminar and some selected papers from eminent professors of Egyptology whom will be invited particularly to participate in this exceptional volume.
The Writing and Scripts Center is now calling for papers to be published in Abgadiyat (Issue 18) 2023, which will be dedicated to the Ancient Arabic Inscriptions.
