The center, in collaboration with the Manuscripts Center, organizes a lecture titled “Arabic Letters in African Writings and Manuscripts” by Prof. Dr. Helmi Shaarawy the  expert of the African Affairs, the founder of the Arab and African Research Center in Cairo and his former director. It takes place at the BA, Main Building – Auditorium, on Monday 11 May 2015 from 12.00 - 2.00 PM.

The center, in collaboration with the Center for African Studies and Research at Cairo University, organizes one-day seminar “The African Language”. It takes place at the BA Conference Center, Multipurpose hall, on Tuesday 14 April 2015 from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM.

In collaboration with IFAO, the Center organizes a one-day seminar “Papyri throughout the Ages: Introduction to Papyrology”. The seminar takes place at the BA Conference Center, Meeting Room E, on Monday 23 February 2015 from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

In the framework of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s interest to arise cultural and archaeological awareness, the Center organizes an international conference entitled “Prehistory in the Arab World and Africa- Second Cycle, from 2-5 March 2015.

The Center is organizing an Ancient Egyptian language course for adults (Hieroglyphic Script; First and Second Level).
