Our meeting started with Dr. Salah Soliman introducing our guest for the day, Prof. Mohamed El-Saadani, President of Mubarak City for Scientific Research & Technology Applications. Dr. Salah briefed the attendees on the major achievements of Prof. El-Saadani and some of the positions he held throughout his academic and professional experience.

Prof. El-Saadani started his presentation entitled “New opportunities for knowledge based economy mentioning some examples of the forms of technology surrounding us and how it is involved in every aspect of our life. Then, he talked about the role of Mubarak City for Scientific Research & Technology Applications in developing new technologies. He also shed lights on the phases through which a new product comes out to the market. A project starts as an idea, then researches adds scientific value to it. Then, the invention is granted a patent right and it is prototyped and then it is released into the market. After that Prof. El-Saadani mentioned some of Mubarak science park future plans and projects that will be carried out.

Our next meeting will be on Sunday, April 12, at 4.00 pm - Multipurpose Hall. Next meeting Ahmed Zeiton, Reem Al Hadad, Marawan Wahba and Mohamed Shady will give a presentation about “The Safety Box Project”.  Then Mahmoud Al-Nouby will give a presentation entitled “To Be A Legend”.
