Our meeting started with Mrs. Layla Abdel Hady briefing the LYM youth about the Science Festivity event which was to take place on 1st of April and in which some of the YESBU and LYM youth are participating. Then she introduced the first presentation of the day entitled “Lake Maryout” which was presented by Mohamed Mubarak. Mohamed started his presentation briefing the attendees on some information about that included its location and size. Then, he shed light on the importance of the lake to Alexandria and then tackled the violations that dangers it. Dr. Salah Soliman and Mrs. Layla Abdel Hady moderated the discussions that followed Mohamed’s presentation.
The second presentation entitled “Body Language was by the LYM member Ossama Abbass. Ossama first defined body language and then he explained some of the most common body gestures that people use. He also shed light on how body these gestures can be used while talking to express the attitude of a person. Then He performed an acting scene from a movie showing the way a certain actor used body language to reflect the characteristics of the role he was playing.
