One problem with follow up studies of any kind are the
interviewers. If the follow up is prolonged, the interviewers can be different, and even
if they are the same they may become more efficient, or simply different, in the way they
ask the questions. So the two applications of the same questionnaire would not be
comparable. Interviewers need to be carefully trained and supervised to assure comparability between studies that may be years apart. |
