The natural way of
overcoming the mentioned difficulties might be the provision of external assistance in
filling out the questionnaires; this method, however, seems but of little productivity as
it in itself is fraught with bringing more distortions caused by the subjectivity of
assistants. As to the refusal to use data on quality of life subjective indices, it should
be correctly substantiated in every specific case and this requires developing built-in
auxiliary scales for measuring the respondent’s adequacy.
