The Diabetes Committee organized itself into four subcommittees. Committee members volunteered for specific areas of interest or expertise. From these subcommittees many ongoing projects have been developed to move toward the ultimate aim of the project. These activities have been funded by a four year Duke Endowment Grant as well as supported by pharmaceutical vendors and local pharmacies.
