Exposure assessment estimates the amount of pollutant introduced by
inhalation, ingestion and dermal absorption. Exposure assessment has the aim of determining the nature and extent of contact with chemical substance experienced or anticipated under different conditions. Multiple approaches can be used to conduct exposure assessment. Generally approaches include indirect and direct tecniques, covering measurements of environmental concentrations and personal exposures, as well as biomarkers. |
