Some of the
biggest mistakes made concerning surveillance data is a failure to look at it once it has
been collected and analyzed, and use it to make improve intervention policies and
programs. Computers facilitate data analyses but don't replace the need to look at, think
about, and discuss the results and take action based on your interpretation of what the
data mean. So let’s now look at some of the different ways data can be summarized and
presented to foster appropriate public health action. |
