Since GDM patients are at an increased risk for DM, we designed a prospective study to evaluate the risk factors for later DM. It is a multi-center prospective study and 4 major tertiary and university hospitals are participating in the study. In this epidemiologic study, anthropometric measurements, demographics, OGTT, stress tests, dietary evaluation, bioelectric impedance tests, and the lipid profiles were standardized at each center.
