Electronic bookshelves are represented by folders (formerly "directories") which are common in many different computer operating systems (MS Windows, MacOS, X-Windows). Each folder includes the shortcuts to concrete CD titles.

The user starts client software, puts his/her name and password (if required) and click on a CD title. Then a CD title is started.
