For this, we retrospectively analysed the C282Y-homozygous patients treated in a blood centre of western Brittany (France), a region of approximately three million inhabitants located in the western part of France and where HH is frequent.

Clinical questionnaire:

A clinical questionnaire was completed at the first visit of patients to the centre. It included different data: socio-demographic characteristics, genotype, biochemical and clinical signs, treatment, daily alcohol consumption.
