14 to 17 months after the tornado a random telephone survey was conducted in the 6 county OCMSA.

A computer generated random digit telephone sample was used.

1000 interviews were completed.

Respondents had to be 18 years of age or older and residing in the OCMSA at the time of the tornado to be included in the survey.

The response rate was 42%.

13% of respondents had been in areas that were damaged by the tornadoes.
