Since the program for TB control in Indonesia mainly focused on the individual infected with TB, it is unfortunate that the domestic environmental factors that influence TB transmission haven’t been more thoroughly explored. It is essential to take into account domestic factors together with other individual factors which together contribute to TB transmission. The integration of domestic factors into the design of TB control programs will ensure a better outcome in the future.
