One final god must be mentioned, and that  Imhotep, who exemplified Egyptian healing arts.  Imhotep was supposedly a real physician, who, when he died, was raised to godhood for his great healing talents.  He would later merge with Aesculapius in the Greek world as the patron saint of physicians.
