My interest in Ethics and the Medical Internet developed and expanded since authoring, designing, creating, hosting and maintaining the Journey of Hearts website devoted to the overlooked areas of Grief and Loss for more than four years. Dealing with this unique, emotionally fragile population--those grieving a loss--produces some unique issues and raises several ethical dilemmas. Consequently we have explored ways of maintaining an ethically-based website as well as watching many of the debates in this new ethical area.
