All these models (see next 2 slides)were employed to find cancer data collected by the Burgundy Registry of Digestive Cancers in the Framework of a population-based study.

Four classic prognostic factors were evaluated in this study : sex, gender, age, cancer stage at the time of diagnosis, and period of diagnosis. Cancer extension at the time of diagnosis was classified according to the Tumor Nodes Metastasis (TNM) classification.

The median survival time is 12 months and the percentage of censoring is about 45% with 1,334 deaths.
