Before I get to the conclusions there were some limitations in this study…

This was a cross sectional study- causal relationships can not be inferred also doesn’t account for seasonal variations in PA.

All data was self-reported and not measured objectively.

Also, as the survey was conducted in English-all non-english speaking residents were excluded. (including a large, population of Asians and Latinos)

Finally, whenever possible questions were taken directly from the BRFSS. However some items were not systematically analyzed for (psychometric properties) validity and reliability.
