The Bibliotheca Alexandrina announces the winners of the Fourth Bi-annual Competition today at Bayt Al-Sinnari

Within the framework of the Support to Cultural Diversity and Creativity in Egypt program, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) announces the winners of its Fourth Bi-annual Art Production Competition today, the 20th of August 2015, at the historical building of at Bayt Al-Sinnari in Sayeda Zeniab district, in Cairo. The competition is regarded the fourth event of the Bi-annual Art Production Competitions organized by the BA within the framework of the Support to Cultural Diversity and Creativity in Egypt, and hosted by Bayt Al-Sinnari Center for Science, Culture and Arts.
Held twice a year, the Bi-annual Art Production Competitions encompass various art forms including; photography, graphic design, film making, painting, and literature. Through these competitions, the BA strive connect the participants and create visibility for their works, as well as provide them with the opportunity to network with each other and other artists.
The Fourth Bi-annual Art Production Competition was held between 9 – 20 of August, under the title of “The Art of Pencil Drawing”. Young Egyptian talents from the ages of 12-16 and 18-34 were invited to enter the competition by submitting artworks which reflect the theme of “Nature: Human – Animal – plants”. The events of the competition are being concluded today at Bayt Al-Sinnari, with the announcement of the winners and the exhibition of the artworks.
