Dear Friends,
Happy Easter everyone!
We now have all our diabetes lectures, along with almost 3000 other lectures on Global Health and Prevention on a DVD that will tour the world!! We will distribute the DVDs to the WHO, Medical Universities and individuals around the world, asking them to make at least 5 copies and pass them on… So our Easter bunny is out with DVDs not chocolate!!
We are also translating the diabetes lectures into Arabic, including the ones that were given in the “Epidemiology for Diabetes and Other Non-communicable Diseases” last January, so please let me know if you would like to translate any of the diabetes lectures. And if your university is interested in making at least 50 copies of the DVDs, please send to super1@pitt.edu.
Alexandria, once more, is very active with diabetes events; the Egyptian Diabetes Association is hosting The IDF 6th Alexandria Diabetes Days from 17-19 April 2009 at Hotel Azur.
