The field of Health Promotion has many facets, and this
lecture can only give a very subjectively narrowed-down insight. Beginning with objectives, introduction, definitions and areas of Health Promotion (slide 2-7), the lecture then goes on to some theoretical foundations and program planning frameworks (slide 8-13). It proceeds with three examples of diverse areas of Health Promotion (slide 14-16) and ends with web-resources, Conferences in Health Promotion and Stakeholders in Health Promotion (slide 17-27). The links are grouped along the classification of WHO-regions and show selected "recommendations for the busy reader". The selection criteria for links were very subjective: relevance to Health Promotion topics and source credibility. |
