In Mexico, the GDP has $9,000 purchasing power parity, that is distributed 4% in agriculture, 26.3% in industry and 69.7% in services. Forty percent of the population is impoverished. The inflation rate is 4%.

The labor force is 41.5 million divided into 1/ 58% services, 2/ 24% industry and 3/ 18% agriculture. It is perhaps striking that 18 % of labor generates 4% of GDP. Industries are food and beverages, tobacco, chemicals, iron and steel, petroleum, mining, textiles, clothing, motor vehicles, consumer durables and tourism.
