It is important
that all medication is documented to help protect the traveler crossing
borders, where many of these drugs are regulated, as well as to provide an
important reference in case medication needs to be replaced. It is important
that relevant consulates are consulted if there is any doubt about whether a
drug can be taken into another country. The traveler should be advised to
carry important medication with them and to be aware that special
arrangements may need to be made in order to carry syringes or other
“sharps” on board aircraft these days. |
