Plans are only good if they can be made fully operational and fully functional. During the remaining year, our attention now turns toward training, and building the skills and capacities to respond to a mass casualty event of such magnitude that all available resources in the Region are activated and appropriately managed under the umbrella of a Regional Incident Response Coordination Team- or RISC Team as conceptualized in our plan.
