On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (2002-2012) the Calligraphy Studies Center is intending to organize “The Fifth International Forum of writings and inscriptions” entitled “The Inscriptions and Writings in the Cities and Deserts of North Africa”, in cooperation with Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med)
 

Calligraphy Studies Center is organizing an Arabic Calligraphy Course for the teachers of  primary schools.

Calligrahy Studies Center organized the Celebration of Book Launching "Reading The Maya Glyphs" with the cooperation of The Embassy of Mexico. The celebration was presented in two languages, Arabic and Spanish, and translation was available.

The celebration is organized to honour Refa' Al Tahtawi and to focus on the efforts of the different Egyptian translators.
