The Center organized a lecture entitled “Andalusia in the Dialogue of Civilizations and International Peacemaking” on Thursday, 7 November 2019, at 1:00 pm, at Bibliotheca Alexandrina,  Main Entrance, Auditorium Hall.

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Ibrahim Al-Qadiri Butshish, Professor of Islamic History and Civilization, Faculty of Arts, University of Moulay Ismail, Meknes, Morocco. It tackled the history of the Andalusian society and the daily life of its people and highlighted the peaceful coexistence between different ethnicities, which took place in an atmosphere of diversity and freedom. The lecture covered three main principles: cultural diversity in the Andalusian society, freedom of religion, and social integration.
