The Center organized a seminar entitled "Islamic Heritage in Russia Through History", with the participation of Egyptian and Russian Scholars, on Thursday, 11 April 2019, at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conference Center, Delegates Hall.

The seminar's themes included:

• Russians in the writings of Arab explorers and geographers.
• Contributions of Islamic scholars in the dissemination of Islam and its culture throughout Russia.
• Arabic manuscripts in Russian libraries.
• The heritage of Islamic artifacts in Russian museums.
• The heritage of Islamic architecture in Russia.
• Contributions of Russian orientalism in Islamic civilization studies.
• Islamic influence on modern Russian literature.
