The Center organized a symposium entitled "Islamic Porcelain Collection at Azov History, Archaeology and Paleontology Museum in Russia" on Saturday, 25 March 2017 within the cultural program of Alexandria Book Fair. In this symposium, the following speakers participated from Russia: Irina Gusach, Deputy Director of the Azov Museum of Archeology and Excavations in Russia, Nikita Yuden, Chief Inspector of Antiquities at Azov Museum, in addition to Dr. Walid Ali Khalil, Assistant Professor of Archeology, Faculty of Archeology, Fayoum University. The Seminar was moderated by Dr, Mohamed El Gamal, Director of the Center for Islamic Civilizations Studies.
