"Reviving Egypt's Islamic Architectural Heritage: The Pursuit of Authenticity"

As part of a series of training courses and workshops on architectural and urban heritage, taught by eminent professors and specialists, the BA- Center for Islamic Civilization Studies, hosts a training workshop titled "Reviving the Heritage of Islamic Architecture in Egypt: The Search for Authenticity."

The course will reread history in the context of emerging technologies to uncover the overlooked and unknown details of historical and heritage buildings. Additionally, participants will gain proficiency in reading historical documents and applying them to comprehend historically significant heritage buildings.

The course will take place at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Main Building, Third Floating (F3), from Sunday to Wednesday, January 28–31, 2024, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
