The Center for Islamic Civilization Studies, affiliated with the BA Academic Research Sector, is organizing a lecture entitled: «From Roots to Fruits the Employment of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Futuristic Studies of Islamic Architectural Heritage». Dr. Samer El-Sayary, Assistant Professor of Architecture at Beirut Arab University on secondment from Alexandria University, will deliver the lecture. The lecture will be on Wednesday, 10 July 2024; from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conferences Center, Delegates Hall.
The lecture will focus on using artificial intelligence technologies to study and preserve the Islamic architectural heritage. Dr. Samer El-Sayary will discuss how to use artificial intelligence applications to understand, analyze, and reproduce the architectural elements of Islamic architecture, including minarets, domes, and arches.
This lecture is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in using artificial intelligence to study Islamic heritage.
