The BA- Center for Islamic Civilization Studies in cooperation with the BA- Children’s Library is organizing a workshop entitled “Floral Motifs in Islamic Arts”. Dr. Hebatallah Hijazi, Graphic Designer at the Center, presents the workshop from Sunday, 4 August to Wednesday, 14 August 2024 (twice a week) from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Children's Library.

The workshop teaches children how to draw floral decorative elements in Islamic arts and how to design and form decorative elements using raw materials commonly used in Islamic arts. It is aimed at young children aged 9 to 11 who want to learn the techniques and rules for drawing floral decorative elements in Islamic arts.
