The Center released Al-intisar Li-wasitat ʻiqd Al-amsar by Ibn Duqmaq, edited by Dr. Ayman Fouad Sayed, an expert in critical editing and publishing.
The book comes in two volumes, and deals with the work of the Egyptian directorates (districts and governorates), highlighting its large cities, the names of their districts (centers), villages, and areas, with details about the plans of Fustat, the capital of Upper Egypt, and Cairo, the capital of Lower Egypt, and its most important landmarks. These include mosques, schools, and homes. It combines the elements of geography, administration, and planning.
