The Center published a two-volume book titled Articles on Islamic Monuments and Civilization, which features the complete works of the pioneer of Islamic archaeology studies, Mr. Hassan Abdel Wahab.
The book highlights the achievements of the great Egyptian pioneers in the Islamic civilization, as it chronicles the stages of development of Islamic architecture and arts in Egypt, from the Muslim conquest to the modern era. It also includes studies that examine Islamic monuments in the Arab world, from architectural facilities such as mosques, schools, agencies, palaces and houses, to the architectural elements they incorporate, such as domes, minarets and arches. In addition, the book comprises detailed studies on the urban development of historical sites across the Islamic world.
