The entirety of the writings of Professor Hassan Abdel Wahhab, the father of Islamic antiquities studies, is included in the third section of the book, "Essays on Islamic Antiquities and Civilization”, issued by the Center for Islamic Civilization Studies. In examining the evolving stages of Islamic architecture and its arts in Egypt from the Islamic conquest to the present era, the book emphasizes the accomplishments of significant Egyptian pioneers and professors in Islamic antiquities and civilization. Through in-depth analyses of the urban development of historical sites, it also focuses on archaeological and cultural studies about Islamic monuments in the Arab world, including architectural features like domes, minarets, arches, and other architectural elements like mosques, madrasas, wekalas, palaces, and houses.
