The Center for Islamic Civilization Studies has published the eighth issue of the »Arab Memory« journal at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's Academic Research Sector. The journal is a peer-reviewed academic periodical that focuses on the cultural and civilizational heritage of Arab countries.

The eighth issue includes diverse research papers, such as Sufism in the Levant and its impact on Sufi institutions in Egypt. Moreover, this issue also delves into diverse aspects of Islamic civilization, including the influence of Islamic scholars on Alexandria, the mutual diplomatic relations between Saladin and the king of Cyprus, and shed lights on the military systems in Islamic Maghreb. In addition, the journal explores the pioneers’ archaeological studies in the Arab world, mainly the efforts of Hassan Abd al-Wahab's in the study of Islamic archaeology and civilization.
