Born in Alexandria, Reem Sassy received her BSc in Dental Medicine in 1999 from Alexandria University. She first worked as a dental practitioner in both the public and private sectors, and then decided to join the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center (PSC) team in 2009. She worked as a workshop’s animator and events coordinator. In 2013, she obtained her Master’s degree in International Public Health from Senghor University. Since then, she has worked in different fields related to informal education and is currently a scientific data review specialist at the PSC.
