Esraa Ali has been working at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina since 2007. She started her career path as a Volunteer for one year, a Fundraising Specialist and Researcher on the “Higher Education Funding Opportunities in the Arab Region” project for five years, then as a Publications Editor since 2013. She holds a BA in linguistics and translation, an MA in the history and civilization of the Mediterranean, and is currently pursuing her PhD, at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. In addition, she is an Alumna of the “Media and Science in the MENA Region” project by the Goethe-Institut Cairo, in 2021. She is passionate about promoting cultural knowledge and science communication by writing articles in SCIplanet magazine on culture, art, history, heritage, technology and sustainability.
