Panel 1: Political Institutions
What are the existing development projects in the major Mediterranean cities today? How do we reinforce the involvement of civil society and the private sector in the development procedures? How do we enhance multilateral cooperation in the light of the flourishing cultural, economic mega-structures (e.g.: Facility for Euro-Mediterranean Investment and Partnership, Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures, etc.)?
What are the obstacles, along both local and international levels, that slow down the activation of partnerships that contribute to the development of the region?
What are the new legislations needed for the development of the Mediterranean?
