Full Membership

Full Membership is open to inpiduals (scientists, researchers, science writers or journalists, as well as inpiduals employed, or active, in the promotion of scientific knowledge), not-for-profit institutions and organizations in Africa that are actively engaged in, or support, the promotion of scientific knowledge.

Associate Membership

Inpiduals, not-for-profit institutions and organizations from non-African countries employed, or active, in the field of scientific knowledge promotion, as well as staff members of institutions and organizations from non-African countries that are actively engaged in, or support, science and technology communication.

PANS is entitled to call on them to take over temporary assignments for the Network.

Honorary Membership

Inpiduals who have retired from a distinguished career in science and technology are accepted as Emeritus members.

PANS is entitled to call on them to take over temporary assignments for the Network.

Each membership candidacy is to be approved by a majority of the Board of Directors.
