In Cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El nasr Girls College is hosting its first annual Science and Engineering Fair (EGCSEF), the gateway where the young can explore a new world of knowledge, innovation and experience.
EGCSEF will be held on the EGC Campus, on the 7th and 8th of February 2012 offering young scientists from all around Alexandria the chance to showcase their projects and scientific approaches to a selection of the most prominent judges.
The top three winners of EGC Science and Engineering fair, who will be qualified to participate directly in Intel BASEF 2012 without going through the screening round are:
1- Azza Faiad & Hend Faiad, grade 11, Zahran language school In Environmental Management Category,for their project "The effect of Mixing Different Types of Types of Inocula on Enhancing Methane Production from Anaerobic Digestion of Food Waste".
2- Yara Ahmed ,grade 11, Zahran language school in Microbiology category, for her project "Does it Have an Effect?".
3- Mostafa Ihab Hassen, Victory College, in Electrical and Mechanical category for his project "Free electricity".
