For the 12-month
recall period, previous injury and the number of races competed in the
previous 12 months were significant risk factors for both men and women.
Age, slow pace and total hours of activity also contributed to the model
among men. Only weight training, contributed among women. Variables that were protective for injury were age and slow RWJ pace among men and participation in weight training at least twice per week among women. |
