In addition to the Concept Dictionary, MCHP
maintains several other dictionaries to facilitate the research process. Where
relevant, cross-references between dictionaries, and to other MCHP pages or
external sites are made: 1. Glossary - provides brief definitions of terms and concepts used frequently in MCHPE research and literature.2. Research Definitions- content derives from classifications systems such as ICD-9-CM and physician tariff codes, and from common groupers such as DRG, RDRG, and CMG.3. Data Dictionaries - highly valued among information systems users. MCHPE has separate data dictionaries for each major set of data (e.g. hospital, medical, physician). This is available only internally. |
