The statistical analysis consisted in description of the biochemical and clinical characteristics of HH patients according to their alcohol consumption. This consumption was considered excessive if the intake was greater or equal to 60 grams per day, and moderate if the intake was lower than this level. We studied the effect of alcohol intake on the disease expression using a linear regression analysis.
