This table shows the characteristics of the 512 male and 914 female clients included in our analyses. Male clients tended to be older than female clients, and were more likely to be white non-Hispanic, gay, lesbian, bisexual or undecided, or HIV positive. About 15% of both gender groups were homeless or runaway youth.
