In summary, we
found that with intensive effort, some hard-to-reach youth were able to be
retained in care. Our study showed that increased outreach and case management services were associated with enhanced retention in care regardless of client demographic characteristics and level of HIV risk. Mental health counseling was clearly related to enhanced retention in care among males, and possibly among females. |
