Trombolysis is a powerful life saving drug in diabetic patients. It is 21% reduction in 35 days mortality for diabetic patients with the use of fibrinolotic therapy. So, for every thousand doses of trombolytic agents given, 15 patients without diabetes will survive compare to 37 patients with diabetes.
