NCDs are not exclusively a problem of affluent societies. They are a problem for all countries. Soon NCDs will even greater than infectious diseases in low income countries.  Something must be done to prevent these from occurring.  A major problem is that very few people in developed and developing countries have any training in the area of NCD prevention. The WHO-NCD-Supercourse training aims to change this.
